Of This route covers the prominent parts of Southern Railways in
which Kanniyakumari To Madurai Line & Vanchi Maniyachchi Jn –
Tuticorin Line Is Doubled and TWO new Sections Have Been Covered..
The total route distance is 1,119 kms. The various sections covered in
this route are as follows:-
1. Virudhunagar Jn – Kanniyakumari : 203 Kms.
2. Virudhunagar Jn – Tenkasi Jn : 122 Kms.
3. Tirunelveli Jn – Tenkasi Jn : 72 Kms.
4. Tirunelveli Jn – Tiruchendur : 61 Kms.
5. Tenkasi Jn – Sengottai : 8 Kms.
6. Vanchi Maniyachchi Jn – Tuticorin : 31 Kms.
7. Nagercoil Jn – Nagercoil Town: 5 Kms.
